Your photos were wonderful. I loved the unfurling of the saffron and the crowds becoming part of The Gates Installation on Saturday. I particularly enjoyed Sunday's photo with the flutter of the fabric near Harlem Meer with ice on it. I loved the pattern of the saffron fabric with rip-stop nylon. So much for rigid, German stereotypes; the curtains made in Germany seem freer in the breeze than one might expect. And the translucency of the fabric with tree branches was particularly effective.
The prospect of becoming part of The Gates with camera in hand next weekend is exhilarating.
